🃏 Fliptown is a Flip and Write game using a standard set of playing cards, by Write Stuff Games, and can be found on PnPArcade. It features both solo and multiplayer modes, with various tweaks to keep the game fresh, including playing against Cowbots (AI opponents) or a Beat-Your-Own-Score mode.
🗺️ The Lone Gun Expansion uses only the Fliptown map (no Cowbots, no roles) and follows a connected campaign.
🤠 Follow along as I take on the role of the Lone Gun Cowboy, navigating through Fliptown and meeting its residents.
CHAPTER FIVE DUST AND DESPAIR
It turns out taking the high road is harder than it looks. You arrived in town with a clean slate, a chance to rewrite your history. But like the nearby creek bed that once snaked through the land, it seems your prospects have all but dried up.
Still, there are plenty of opportunities roaming the range…if you’re willing to let your morals slide by the wayside. Heck, you’ve already robbed some graves, how much lower can you stoop?
With a heavy heart, you pay a visit to the general store. “I’m looking for something to help me procure some fast cash,” you say to the woman behind the counter. “You got anything like that?”
The woman ponders before answering,
“Well, we do have a few vintage pieces here.” She pulls a rusted bowie knife and old bandolier off the shelf, blowing the dust off them and slamming them onto the counter. “Either of these strike your fancy?”
“Yeah, this’ll do,” you reply, choosing one of the items. “It’s just for show, anyhow.” With the item in hand, you leave the shop and turn toward the badlands off in the distance, determined to finally get ahead in this cruel world—by any means necessary.
