Chapter 8 of Fliptown: The Lone Gun set the town on fire. Red cards burned buildings out of the town, taking away actions and Silver Star opportunities while I tried to decide which losses I could survive. I started with wanted already on the board, paid off an ace sheriff, and watched the hotel and other useful spaces disappear.
My first calculation landed below even the one-point campaign tier. I then went back over the final turn and realized I could have cashed in Money in My Sock before the sheriff draw, information I had access to at the time. I made the retroactive choice, added three points, and finished at 71 for one legendary point with a very large asterisk. Was that a fair correction or cheating? Yeah… that’s the conversation this episode leaves behind.
